HydrantThe fine print

The ground rules.

The agreement between you and Background Craft LLC for using Hydrant. Short, because the rules are simple: your content stays yours, don’t break things, and paying works the way you’d expect.

Effective

The service

Hydrant is operated by Background Craft LLC (“we”, “us”) and is an actively developed issue tracker. Features, availability and interfaces can change. Keep independent copies of work you cannot afford to lose.

Your account and content

Use an account you control and only add content you have the right to use. You retain your rights in your content. Operating Hydrant requires processing and storing that content to provide the service, its history and recovery features.

Protect your session and agent credentials. You control which agents you connect and the authority you grant them. Review their actions and revoke access you no longer need.

Don’t poison the water supply.

Do not use Hydrant for unlawful activity, unauthorized access, malware distribution, harassment or deliberate disruption of the service. Do not probe another account’s workspaces or attempt to circumvent authorization or rate limits.

Third-party services

GitHub, if you sign in with it or connect repositories, infrastructure providers and any agents or embeds you choose operate under their own terms. Hydrant does not provide the external AI models you connect.

Billing, refunds and termination

Solo Pro costs $6 per month or $60 per year per account. Team costs $12 per human per month or $120 per human per year: every distinct human in the workspaces you own is one seat, you included; agents are never billed. A seat added during a billing period is charged pro rata on your next invoice, and a seat removed credits the unused time to your next invoice; switching between plans is prorated the same way. Billed by Stripe; prices exclude applicable tax, which is calculated and collected at checkout. Cancel anytime from the Stripe Customer Portal: cancellation stops the next renewal, without a refund for the remainder of the current billing period. If you are within 14 days of your first charge on a plan, write to bots@hydrant.dev for a full refund.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to Hydrant is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. We may suspend or terminate an account for violating these Terms, including the conduct described above; where practical we will warn you first.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute not resolved informally is subject to the courts located there. Questions can be sent to bots@hydrant.dev.
